- We do not store IP addresses, browser fingerprints, or any persistent user identifier on our servers.
- We do not sell or share any visitor data, because we do not have it.
What runs locally
What stores data in your browser
DermFND uses your browser's localStorage for two features you control:
- Wishlist — the list of products you've heart-icon'd, kept in
localStorageunder the keyda:wishlist. Never sent to any server. - Compare — same pattern, key
da:compare.
Clear your browser's site data for dermfnd.org to wipe both lists. We will never see them; they exist only on your device.
Outbound links
Third-party links and cookies
When you click a retailer link (currently Amazon), you leave dermfnd.org. The destination site has its own privacy policy and cookie practices; please review theirs directly.
We may serve fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com), which loads CSS from Google's servers. This may set Google cookies depending on your browser settings. We do not receive analytics from these requests.
